The Charlotte Area Local has settled an outstanding casual arbitration which was returned to the parties for resolution of the remedy.

I would like to thank Pat Davis-Weeks, NBA for arguing a great case at arbitration. And a special thanks to Andrew Ringler who assisted Pat Davis-Weeks in preparation and testified at the hearing.

Our job now is to figure out who will be paid. The remedy will include any career clerk craft employee on the rolls in the Charlotte Bid Cluster during the period of October 14, 2006 and February 2, 2007.

The settlement provides for a very quick payment process. Our goal is to have payments to the members within the next 60 days. Please give us an opportunity to review the records before making inquires about the amount of settlement to each affected person.
